How scoring works
Three simple ideas: your daily result, your saved progress, and your playful pattern profile.
Daily Clash Score
The score from today's one scored Daily Clash run. Correct answers earn their point value; incorrect answers earn zero. Daily Clash is free and there's one scored category per day.
Culture Score
Your saved progress signal across official Culture Clash play — reflecting range, curiosity, and consistency over time. It's a game score, not a verdict.
Culture DNA
Culture DNA is your playful pattern profile across saved Culture Clash results. It may reflect which categories you play, where you answer correctly, what eras you recognize, and which kinds of references you seem strongest in.
What counts: saved official results — Daily Clash runs, and entitled Classic Mode runs.
What does not count: practice, previews, unsaved guest runs, and duplicate same-day plays.
Why it needs multiple saved results: a single run isn't a pattern. Patterns and an archetype appear after a few saved runs.
Culture DNA is for play and pattern recognition. It is not a measure of intelligence, taste, identity, belonging, or cultural worth.
Classic Mode
Classic Mode is paid, unlocked extended play. Correct answers earn points; incorrect answers earn zero, so wrong answers never inflate your score. Entitled official Classic runs can contribute to your Culture DNA.
